Our Story
ME Candles is a family-owned business founded in Dubai in 2007 as Middle East Candle Manufacturing Company.
The business began with an original idea from our founder: creating hollow wax candles designed to hold LED tea lights. These candles offered hotels and restaurants the warm appearance of candlelight in a practical, reusable format that was safer and easier for their teams to manage.
Her daughter, Somati, joined the company in 2011 and took over its management in 2018. With her background in five-star hospitality, she brought a clear understanding of the importance of presentation, reliability and efficient daily operations.
In 2012, the company was re-established as ME Candles FZC. Since then, our collection has continued to grow while remaining true to the personal service and attention to detail of a family-run business.
